Afterschool Program - YTC (Grades 1-5)

Location: Langs Main Centre

Join the Afterschool Program at Langs. Meet new friends: gym time, healthy snacks and fun activities. Registration required. Subsidies avaialble. Program does not run during summer, on PA Days or Stat holidays. Grades 1-5.

Art @ the Hub

For: Teens, Youth

Location: Langs Main Centre

Self-directed art projects with the occasional guest instructor (call for details). All supplies provided.

Breaktime (Coronation Public School Grades 4-6)

For: Youth

Location: Coronation Public School

Come out during your second nutrition break to participate in fun games, crafts and colouring contests. Students of Coronation Public School only.

Clothing Giveaways

For: Adults, Children, Older Adults, Teens, Youth

Location: Langs Main Centre

Langs hosts a FREE clothing giveaway in Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. Donations accepted 2 weeks prior to giveaways at Langs Main Site.

Community Dinner

For: Adults, Children, Food, Older Adults, Teens, Youth

Location: Langs Main Centre

You are invited to the Langs Community Dinner, a free drop-in meal offered once per month.

Counselling @ the YWH

For: Children, Teens, Youth

Location: Langs Main Centre

Langs counselling and social work services assists children, youth, and their families through groups, workshops and one-on-one support. The focus is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, and emotional-regulation approaches to improving Youth Mental Health.

Langs Main Site / HUB@1145 is a beautiful, bright and modern 68,000 sq. ft. building that was built in 2011, and expanded in 2018. The facility features a walking track, full sized gymnasium, multiple meeting and event spaces, a courtyard, 2 green roofs, a living wall and much more!

Direction & Hours

The North Dumfries Community Health Centre was established in 2003 in Ayr as a satellite centre of Langs. Community residents recognized the need to enhance accessible health care services in North Dumfries Township. WithLangs leadership, a community needs assessment was done and a foundation for the CHC established.

The Grow Community Centre is located in the Hespeler area of Cambridge and was formerly known as ‘Popcorn House’ and provides a variety of welcoming and engaging activities and programs for youth, adults and families.

The Youth and Teen Centre is located in the Preston area of Cambridge and offers a variety of welcoming and engaging activities, programs and drop-ins for youth ages 5-18, including the 7th Inning Alternative Education Program for youth in grades 7 & 8 who need additional support.

The Regional Coordination Centre is a coordination and referral centre providing streamlined access to care and resources in Waterloo Wellington. The Waterloo Wellington Self-Management Program is located at the same site and provides support for individuals and their caregivers in the region living with or at risk of developing chronic diseases.
