Meet new people, develop new skills and have fun by becoming a Langs Farm Volunteer. Many volunteer opportunities are available to meet a variety of needs and interests. There are no age restrictions and student placements are always welcome. You can make a commitment of time that works for you.

• Become a member of the Board of Directors
• Join a committee and help plan community events and services
• Help lead a preschool, youth or teen program
• Help lead activities in adult programs
• Become a volunteer van driver for our programs
• Be a volunteer receptionist and assist at the Resource Centre
• Help raise funds to support our programs and services
• Become a street representative and deliver newsletters

• Call the Volunteer Co-ordinator to make an appointment or fill in the online volunteer application to the right
• Have a face to face meeting with the Volunteer Co-ordinator
• Tell us about your interest and the time that you can commit to being a volunteer
• Fill out volunteer information forms
• Visit some programs and services
• Work with the Co-ordinator to determine the best position for you
• Obtain a police check (we pay for it)
• Attend an orientation session
• Attend training sessions as needed
• Be recognized for your contribution regularly and during National Volunteer Week in April
