About the Langs Farm Village Association

Langs Farm Village Association is a neighbourhood organization that was formed in 1978 by a group of residents and agencies who were concerned about the community.

Our Mission:

Langs Farm Village Association enhances community participation and well-being by providing accessible programs and services for people of all ages.

Our Vision:

Creating healthy and engaged communities where individuals are valued and supported.

What We Believe:

  • A person's health and well-being is impacted by income, housing, employment, education social support, food security and the environment.
  • Each person's knowledge, skills and experience enrich our communities.
  • The health and well being of individuals is enhanced by involvement in their community.
  • Shared ownership and responsibility for their community is achieved through positive relationships among individuals, staff and volunteers.
  • Services are welcoming, flexible and responsive to the changing needs of communities.
  • Working together with volunteers, staff and community partners facilitates easier access to services in the community.

Who Can Attend:

Community Services

Any community resident who lives between Industrial Drive and Concession Road and Bishop and Eagle Streets, has first priority. If you live outside the area, you may place your name on a waiting list. Space will be offered when it is available.

Community Medical Services

Any resident who lives in the Preston community. Other residents of Cambridge may be eligible. Please call about our discretionary policy.

With the help of staff, community partners and many volunteers, Langs Farm provides programs and services for individuals, families and groups, working together to build healthy communities where residents are valued and supported.
